Lake Pointe Schools
Rough Hollow is served by the award-winning Lake Travis Independent School District (LTISD), ranked #9 in the state of Texas and #2 in the Austin Area. The elementary school is Lake Pointe Elementary School. For middle school, residents attend Lake Travis Middle School and for high school, Lake Travis High School. Since 1998, Lake Travis High School has earned 29 state championships in University Interscholastic League athletics and academics, as well as extracurricular clubs and activities. While boasting a 95 percent graduation rate, Lake Travis High School has also been named one of the “Best High Schools for Athletes” in the Austin area.
